13 days

So for everyone new to this blog or doesn't know what's going on, here's the lowdown. I'm moving to Disney World in 13 days for an internship and I won't be back until JANUARY! This is a great opportunity for me to maybe even be hired by Disney for a full time job someday. While I'm really nervous for everything I'm also pumped to see what happens.

So read, comment, and check out my journey as I take a big step towards my dream.

Time is TICKING!

Well only 28 days until I move to FLORIDA to work for the mouse!

I am currently watching the princess and the frog and I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I have seen it. Which also shows my Disney obsession, every facebook group, formspring, and blogspot has been read . Shopping for my apartment, thinking of what to pack, meeting my roomate! It is all happening so fast!

Well WEll WELL.
Meeting all the different people through the Disney Facebook I have met some really interesting people. And talking to people on tok box has been HILARIOUS! all of you people are so funny. Or mean and boring *cough josh oliver cough * Just kidding. but really when I sing to you don't get feisty. hahaha
So Kyle, Brett and I met these really cool people one of which (steven maier) is going to be bretts roomate and the other two Taylor Beeler and John Blaire and they all came to visit me in kent! which was so fun. Free Henna tattoo Saturdays, gorgeous spring weather, super mario brothers and of course hilarious memories. So we had a magical Disney weekend meeting each other and becoming really weird best friends over night.
Even though taylor is a creep.
But having this weekend really showed how many people i'm going to be meeting and becoming friends with! I absolutely cannot wait to meet every single one of you.
And not to mention Taylor is color blind and got in a car accident on the way here with precious John in the passenger seat :C but they were ok and kept on driving their 6 hours to get to me. HAHA love it.
And Steven has done the CP before so poor little buddy i've been like drilling him with questions.
OK that's about all the useless stories I have for now.

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing.

ok, ok I'm dying this wait is killing me. June is so close but it feels so far away! Is anyone else feeling this way?! I CAN'T FOCUS!
EVERYTHING reminds me of Disney. when you are finding hidden mickeys in the snow walking to class you know something is wrong. Not knowing what store I will be in is killing me. Can't they help us out a little bit and hint or something?! this is awful!
So two of my best friends also got hired as I mentioned before and we are going to have this really big going away party! SOO excited. It's like graduation all over again.
I love meeting all of these new people! even though it's over the internet i'm really pumped to meet everyone when i'm down there. New fav - Steven, Brett's room mate. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Disney comes to Kent.

So even though I'm already accepted I decided to go to the informational meeting anyway.
SO EXCITING!
Hearing all about the program in detail was so exciting because I know I'm going to be there!
The woman leading it was so enthusiastic and genuine about Disney. She had done the college program also and is now traveling America telling people about it. She pointed out that this is a great chance to get a Disney job for the future not just an internship... Which is something I would LOVE.
I snuck and stole a mickey balloon at the end off of the hallway SOO PUMPED to have that floating in my dorm room. But then as soon as I go outside the cold wind deflates it and it pops! HENCE the broken balloon picture. But I still love it.
Watching all of these youtube informational and the posts are HILARIOUS. I love reading all of these people freaking out. Don't worry! If it is meant to happen it will.
June you are looking so far away. Please come soon.
Not gonna lie I am a little worried about the Florida heat this summer. I'm praying to God that I am put in an inside shop out of the humidity and sun.

I put in an email to my recruiter about where I want to work.. I'm not sure if it will help but it certainly cannot hurt. Magic Kingdom maybe?


The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.

Purple folder, Purple nails.

Well even though I got the email that said I was hired, coming back to college to find my purple folder was so exciting, and relieving in a way. Reading everyone's posts and talking about this 24/7 with Kyle and Brett has been killing me! I feel like it's going to be forever until I get there! I may request an area for merchandise, not quite sure yet. "DR" Disney research has been consuming every waking minute practically which is not good because I am still a student in college.Classes are getting harder and harder to focus in and every little thing sparks a Disney thought. Good luck to everyone who hasn't heard yet I wish you the best.
